Welcome to the Framingham Housing Authority

The Framingham Housing Authority, located in Framingham, MA, is a government agency that operates and manages public housing in Middlesex County. The Housing Authority oversees low-income housing, including the application process, eligibility guidelines, and related resources. Although many who pass the Framingham Housing Authority family developments on the historical former muster field site may see rows of townhouses, a closer look reveals the FHA is about more than bricks and mortar — it is about working daily to provide improved quality of life for each of its family, elderly and handicapped residents.

The Framingham Housing Authority (FHA) is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners. Four of the members are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Framingham and confirmed by the City Council and one member is appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts.
